I’ve been with my boyfriend for nearly three months. I really like him, but there’s a problem – drugs.

When he’s out with mates, he does pills or cocaine. I asked him to stop and he promised he would, but when he was drunk he forgot to cancel our phone call and I overheard he’d done some coke.
I told him I knew and he denied it. I hate the fact he lied to me. I’ve already lost a brother to drugs and he knows it. I tried asking him if we could do cocaine together, but he won’t let me go down that route. I’m 17, he’s 20. I don’t know what to do.

First of all, as I’m sure you know, ecstasy and cocaine are illegal and potentially dangerous. There’s a good website, www.talktofrank.com, which explains the effects they have on the body.

You should never take drugs just to please or be with someone. Your boyfriend knows about your brother, so he shouldn’t be doing these kind of things around you.

You haven’t said how your brother died, but addiction can run in families so you should be extra careful before you go down a dangerous road like this.
