CELEBRITY chef Gary Rhodes became the latest contestant to be booted off Strictly Come Dancing last night.

The Michelin-starred cook, 48, and his partner Karen Hardy, 38, were left in the bottom two - on just 18 points out of 40 - with Olympic swimmer Mark Foster in Saturday night’s BBC show.

After last night's dance-off, hapless Gary was voted off by three of the four judges who described his footwork as "flat as a pancake".

Judge Craig Revel Horwood, who gave the couple just one point in an earlier show, criticised Gary for "major timing issues and stompy flat-footedness".

But Gary blasted Craig, saying: "I only had 10 hours of dancing time to learn last night’s jive. He should come into one of my kitchens, spend 10 hours learning to cook and then see how well he does.

"I bet his results would be pretty vile and he’d be lucky to get one point out of me."

Head judge Len Goodman said of Gary’s routine: "I thought it was a very brave attempt."
